Santa Claus Ousted by Pere Noel
Instead of being home for the holidays, the Strentz and Martell families flew from Seattle, Des Moines, Asheville, Rome and Dakar to meet up in Paris to celebrate Christmas 2000

We strolled through the the Louve, D'Orsay and Pompidou, viewed the city from the top of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph and millenium ferris wheel, browsed the offerings at Galleries Lafayette, Bon Marche and Conran's, ate, drank and were merry and avoided any conversations concerning the recent results of the presidential election.
